This Ramadan, relish the favoured dishes during this Holy Month in the Old City, in a specially curated food walk along with your friends! A paradise for all you foodies out there, Hyderabad has a lot to offer in terms of its rich cultural heritage and its age-old recipes, available equally for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. Highlighting this food walk, we shall sample the savoury Haleem, which lures folks from across the city to its origins at Charminar. Among the other dishes we shall treat our taste buds with, are spicy kebabs, a variety of textures of thick milk cream from hand-churned lassi and ice-cream while also venturing towards the famous Osmania biscuits, kheema, sheer-khurma and shami-parathas. Vegetarians shall also have a lip-smacking time with Biryani, Bagara Rice Dalcha, avocado juice and biscuits with almond, cashew or coconut. Savour the delightful flavours of biryani cooked on burnt wood and the delectable paya-masala. As we come to an end to this delicious adventure, we shall bid adieu with a cup Irani Chai and take home local add-ons to our regular food like the local breads like naan or meethe-ki-roti.
